S-X real name (Sam Gumbley) is a Grime and Hip Hop Music Producer from
Wolverhampton. He started producing in
Smestow_School at the age of 11 and got given the name S-X by a friend who also gave him a copy of
Fl Studio. From there S-X built his style and the first track that took nearly two years to get recognition is
the Woo Riddem that eventually featured the
Newham Generals D Double E Bad To The Bone, it was released on vinyl by independent record label
Butterz. Many people categorized the track as
grime Music however S-X says he thinks its more Hip Hop and that its more of a personal sound "the S-X sound" a signature sound that producers gain from their own style and collection of sounds. S-X mentions on
SB.TV producers house he uses FL Studio and a Laptop to create his patterns and sequences and his style of music  is laid back, chilled, modern and each track has a story telling instrumental vibe. Scout Tronic believes S-X uses
Roland TR 808 Drums, pads, atmospheric sounds, synths,
VSTs such as
Refx Nexus and Effects such filters what he uses, his style could be similar to producers such as
DJ Khaled,
No I.D,
Boi-1da,
Al-Khaaliq,
Noah 40 Shebib and
T-Minus who all produced the recent
Drake instrumentals.
Most tracks have his signature sound similar to how
Rude Kid has his "are you ready" signature" he uses digital audio workstation FL Studio, and says he prefers PC compared to a Mac, because a MAC cant run Fl Studio in the application set up, interestingly East London producer Rude Kid says exactly the same thing on producers house.
he also tweets he will be releasing
S-X The 'Hotel 808' EP, and it will contain 4 instrumentals and a track feat
@DonaldGlover aka Childish Gambino. The
Stay Fresh crew Music producer from Wolverhampton has released four EPs that you can Download -

Hustle Gang' featuring
T.I. &
Chip
S-X Music is by far one of
the best producers to come out the scene in recent times and will probably travel the circuit and get heard by American Rappers, perhaps maybe Drake to rap over, Big Instrumental.
